Destination Star Trek Europe ended this past weekend in Birmingham, England. While we were not able to attend, we're sure the event lived up to expectations, considering the large crowds and star-studded talent.
Marina Sirtis was there, as was the one-and-only William Shatner. One of the highlights, however, very well could have been the epic mother-son reunion of Gates McFadden (Beverly Crusher) and Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher). Together, the pair rehashed their time on Star Trek: The Next Generation,Wheaton's love for/obsession with Star Trek: The Original Series, and how Star Trek helped to elevate their fame.
